Some tips

How to select your socks ?

Several factors are to be considered:
-
First the planned use, which type of sports.
- Then the season, and the approximate temperature in the area where you will be using the socks.
- - Then you need to evaluate the level of intensity of the effort . This allows to discriminate between thermal and breathable factors.

In order to help you in this selection, Monnet has established product differentiation systems:

3P – Product Performance Profile

Thickness : Fine, Medium, Confort.

AES – Adaptive Ergonomy System

Ergo’Technicity System

OFF – Optimum Foot Fit

The 3P have been developed to specifically allow you to select the type of socks which is right for you and your planned activity. .

Respirability: Correspond to the level of exchange between the hot air coming from inside the socks and the fresh air coming from outside to renew the former.

Warmth: Thermal performance of the socks in relation to the fibre used and the type of knitting. This has to be considered if you plan and use the socks during a defined season and if you feel you tend to have specifically warm or hot feet.

Comfort: Différente de l’épaisseur de la chaussette, cette notion de confort provient aussi des matières utilisées et des mailles qui construisent un produit.

Fast drying: Defines the thickness of the socks. This is as well defined by the type of fibre and knitting used during the production process.

Thickness
A new segmentation has been developed defining the thickness of the socks:

Comfort
This defines socks of a certain thickness allowing maximum comfort especially in the area of the sole. It reduces the incidence of pressure points.
Medium
Defines socks of medium thickness allowing maximum versatility. This is the thickness for maximum number of different uses.
Thin
Defines the thinnest socks for people requiring highest level of technicity and minimum weight.
