Cold Weather
Thanks to our expertise, we design socks, liners, and glove liners to protect you from extreme cold.
Our socks, liners, and glove liners are Made in France, crafted with a blend of ancestral and noble materials like merino wool, as well as new and technological materials like bio-ceramic IR Reflex fiber.
Face the extreme cold
Our mission is to help you face extreme negative temperatures by designing socks that will protect your feet while offering you the utmost comfort. To achieve this, Monnet offers you several products, the result of our expertise in mastering materials, the work of our research & development team, and our close partnership with high-level athletes, especially the guides from the prestigious company of Guides de Chamonix.
Grandes Jorasses: 85% merino wool!
85%! This is the exceptionally high percentage of merino wool used in the Grandes Jorasses model. As we know, wool offers a particularly effective natural thermal protection. Furthermore, the thickness of the socks also plays an important role in protecting against the cold. The combination in the Grandes Jorasses model of 85% merino wool and a 100% loop construction ensures that those who wear them can go out without any fear, even in very low negative temperatures.
100% made in France
Monnet is a brand whose production is 100% Made in France. This means that each pair of our socks is the result of a rigorous process of technological creation and design where every detail matters to ensure the satisfaction of each of our customers.
Care instructions.
To extend the lifespan of your hiking socks, here are some useful tips: Wash your socks in the washing machine with a 30° program, especially wool socks. Use a low spin speed. Let them air dry, do not use a dryer as it would damage the fibers. Use laundry detergent and care products that contain the maximum natural components to preserve the nature of the fibers. Do not iron them.
