The GelProtech and GelProtech Wool models are the only ski socks that protect your shins with silicone gel plates inserted in fleece pockets sewn inside the socks.
The length and cushioning power of the gel plates ensure that your shins are effectively and durably protected. The gel plates are removable, allowing them to be kept separate from the socks during machine washing and thus preserving their cushioning properties.
